Happy Chanuka
In honor of the Chanuka Festival that commemorates the heroism of our soldiers and citizens throughout the ages I visited the monument devoted to those that fell on January 1995 in the first double suicide attack that occurred at the Beit Leid Junction near Netanya. In that terrorist attack 21 soldiers and 1 civilian were killed, some of them while rushing to give first aid to the ones wounded at the first attack. They received post humus certificates of merit for their valour. The site offers interesting and meaningful commemorative activities that enable us to remember the stiff price that the Jewish nation pays for its freedom.
